NewMalangPos– Grammy Awards 2021 rampung digelar Minggu (14/3) malam waktu Amerika Serikat atau Senin (15/3) pagi waktu Indonesia. Sejumlah rekor tercipta pada tahun ini.

Pada gelaran tahun ini, album folklore dari Taylor Swift berhasil menjadi Album of the Year yang membuat musisi itu menjadi solois perempuan pertama yang memenangkan kategori tersebut tiga kali, dan keempat secara umum.

Dilaporkan CNN Indoneia, Senin (15/3), Beyonce juga mencetak rekor sebagai musisi perempuan dengan kemenangan Grammy terbanyak sepanjang sejarah, yaitu 28 kali.

Meghan Thee Stallion meraih piala Grammy pertamanya melalui kategori Best Rap Performance berkat lagu Savage Remix yang ia buat bersama Beyonce.

Harry Styles juga meraih piala Grammy pertamanya berkat Watermelon Sugar.
Meski mencetak sejarah dengan raihan nominasi, boyband Korea Selatan BTS yang sukses mendobrak pasar Amerika Serikat dengan Dynamite mesti kalah dari Lady Gaga dan Ariana Grande yang membawa pulang Grammy berkat Rain on Me.
